Just 300 m from the Colosseum, it offers ittypical Roman dishes. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe is excellent, but the coda alla vaccinara is a dream. The service is typical Roman, friendly and easygoing. I'll be back.

Cozy place, very friendly staff and very good food! I recommend it if you want to eat well and not overspend, 5 minutes from the Colosseum. I would gladly go back there

Taverna dei Quaranta is definitely one of the trattorias where I had the best Amatriciana and a super tiramisu, the raw materials are a great combination of quality and price. In addition, it is a unique place a stone's throw from the Colosseum, easy to reach even by transportation. The owner is very courteous and friendly.... Well what to say a super Roman trattoria where to eat well after a walk in the heart of Rome.

A small restaurant tucked away in a corner that had to be found! Very pleasant service, quality dishes. We who came to taste the specialties of Rome were not disappointed! We highly recommend it. Bonus point for the bruschetta tomatoes which were especially good!

A stone's throw from the Colosseum on Via Claudia, Taverna dei 40 is a true Roman trattoria with excellent traditional dishes and more, good desserts too, friendly and helpful service. When we are around there we always like to go back. Fair prices, highly recommended.
